Privacy Policy for Flex Assistant
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Flex Assistant mobile application (the "App") handles your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing you with an automated utility to assist with your Amazon Flex workflow.
Summary: This app does not collect personal information, does not share your data with third parties, and contains no advertisements. It uses the Accessibility Service API and other standard permissions solely to automate the identification and scheduling of offers within the Amazon Flex app based on your locally stored preferences.
1. Zero Personal Data Collection Policy
The App is built on a "Privacy by Design" principle:
- No Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or contact list.
- Automation Integrity: The schedule preferences you enter (days, hours, etc.) are used only to filter offers on your behalf. We do not log or track your work history or offer selections.
2. Accessibility Service API Usage
The App requires the Accessibility Service API to provide its core automation functionality. This is a sensitive permission, and we use it as follows:
- Monitoring: We monitor the screen content only when the Amazon Flex app (com.amazon.flex.rabbit) is in the foreground to identify available offer blocks.
- Interaction: We perform automated clicks to "Refresh" the offer list and "Schedule" blocks that match your criteria.
- Consent: This service is only activated with your explicit consent via system settings. It does not bypass any Android privacy controls or change system settings without your knowledge.
- Data Handling: No data accessed through the Accessibility Service API is collected, stored, or shared. It is processed in real-time locally on your device to perform the requested actions.
3. Permissions and Usage
The App requires specific permissions to provide its functionality:
- Accessibility Service: Used to view screen content and interact with the Amazon Flex app.
- Internet Access: Used solely for Google Play Billing services and subscription verification.
- Post Notifications: Used to alert you when an offer has been successfully scheduled or if a manual action is required.
- Vibrate: Used to provide haptic feedback when a match is found or an action is performed.
- Billing: Used to manage your subscription status via the Google Play Store.
4. Data Processing & Third-Party Services
Local Processing
All automation logic is executed locally on your device. Results are displayed in the app or via notifications and are not recorded by the developer.
Google Play Billing
When you subscribe, the transaction is handled entirely by Google. We only receive a confirmation of your subscription status (e.g., "Subscribed") and do not have access to your payment information.
5. Google Play Data Safety Compliance
To assist with the Google Play Data Safety section, we confirm the following:
- Data Collection: No user data is collected.
- Data Sharing: No user data is shared with third parties.
- Security: All subscription-related queries are performed over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) provided by Google Play services.
6. Local Preferences
The App stores your chosen scheduling requirements (days of the week, start/end times, and delays) locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App.
7. No Advertisements
The App does not contain any third-party advertisements, tracking SDKs, or marketing mechanisms. It is a clean, utility-focused tool.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in app functionality or regulatory requirements. Any changes will be reflected by the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
9. Contact
For any questions regarding this privacy policy, please contact the developer via the email provided on the Google Play Store listing.
